While it is not quite the Hostel paradise of Jericoacoara, it is a great spot for a comfy beach vacation. You’ll need a nice place to crash after windsurfing and drinking caipirinhas on the beach all day! There are plenty of hostel to choose from, but these are our favorites. Remember that hostels can get very pricey during Brazilian holidays, Brazilian Vacation periods, and prime windsurfing seasons.
This is one of the few true budget options in Canoa Quebrada and definitely one of the best values in town. Located just above the beach, the views are stunning! Rooms are basic but cute with thatched roof, fan, private ensuite with hot water, and fridge. For a bit extra, you can get a veranda with ocean view. Breakfast is included

This beautiful little pousada, just off the main road and close to the beach, has 10 bungalows, each named after a Fellini film, surrounding pretty gardens and a pool. Bungalows range in size, but all include air conditioning, private ensuite, kitchen and living area. Breakfast and free WiFi included; laundry, restaurant, bar and travel desk available.

This charming pousada has 28 comfortable rooms, ranging in size, around a beautiful pool and gardens. Breakfast included; free coffee and fruit all day; restaurant, internet access, WiFi, laundry, bar, guest kitchen, common room, BBQ area, travel desk, and nightclub on site. If you’re looking to splurge a little, this is a great place to do it without ruining the budget! Tip: it’s much cheaper to stay here during the week as prices almost double on weekends. A great spot to take a rest when you travel Brazil.
