Jericoacoara is full of hostels. There are not many places you can stand in the village and not see hostel. As a result, their are some great choices available. The hostels listed here are mostly on the smaller side, and since it’s not hard to find a party in Jeri, that usually gives you a more intimate experience. That  being said, we love a good party hostel. Here are a few great beds for both the partier and then beach bum (or any combination thereof):

Pousada do Tadeu

With one of the best locations in town, this larger pousada has rooms accommodating from one to five people. Located on the main street, about a 2 minute walk from the main beach and the best jericoacoara nightlife. Room amenities vary from fan and hot shower, to air conditioning, hot shower, TV and fridge. Verandas with hammocks and common lounge areas. Travel/tour information and bookings available. Breakfast included. English and Portuguese spoken. From R$50/night, low season.

Book Pousada Do Tadeu

Cumelen Bed & Windsurf

Two beautiful little chalets run by a Brazilian and his Argentine wife. Loft with a queen bed, fan and window overlooking the common garden; downstairs, single bed, kitchen and bathroom; private veranda with table and chairs and hammock. Breakfast included, but optional reduced price excluding breakfast. 7-8 minute walk to the main beach, 3 minute walk to the other beach. English, Portuguese and Spanish spoken. From R$65-80/night, low season. This is a gem, don’t miss it on your Brazil trip . Especially for couples.

AtHome GuestHouse

Three room guesthouse run by an amiable Brazilian-German who takes it upon herself to make her guests feel completely at home, from offering free internet and movies on her spare laptop to cooking group dinners. The rooms accommodate 2-3 people and are equipped with ceiling fans, large windows and ensuite bathrooms, including the best shower (hot water + good water pressure) we’ve managed to find in all of South America! Well-stocked common kitchen, veranda including table and chairs and hammocks. English, Portuguese and German spoken. From R$30-50/night, low season.
